a new way

Calling all Changemakers and Changemakers to be….

It’s Dec. 21, 2012 and it’s time for a new way of doing things.

As we step into this new way, we will find ourselves in a time where the attention and effort we put into each little thing manifests more quickly and easily than we are accustomed to. A time where we need to really pay attention to where and what we are putting our attention on so that we ensure that what we are manifesting in our life is really what we want.

If there are demons in our closets, now is the time to address and them and send them packing or we will find our best efforts sabotaged very quickly. Yes, this is the time to relinquish any fear we’ve held in the past and to ensure that all of our actions are motivated only by love.

In stepping into this new way of being, I invite you now to create your vision for the world you would love to live in. You have the ability to dream big and today is the perfect time to start.

As Harriet Tubman, 19th century slave turned abolitionist, ‘conductor’ of the Underground Railroad and brave humanitarian tells us, “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

In this new world where we are focused on love instead of fear, I envision living in a country that no longer feels the need to spend billions of dollars to defend itself. Instead, we put that energy into seeking out ways to become helpful, valuable and trusted allies of our brothers and sisters.

I imagine the money we previously spent on defence being channelled into industries that actually feed our minds, bodies and spirits with positive energies. A world where we all work to restore what we have destroyed both within and without. One where we get back to our natural state of balance and joy.

I imagine the industries that previously profited from pillaging the earth of it’s valuable resources being replaced with clean energy and the workers being retrained in these new life affirming industries.

I imagine each adventure out into my community being filled with encounters of stimulating, thought provoking and beautifying art which provides our artists the venues, audience and financial reciprocation they deserve for improving our day to day experience.

I imagine a world where food is not wasted or grown by dumping chemicals onto it but is respected and honoured for the life giving properties it provides. A world in which we make wise decisions within our food growth and distribution systems which ensure easy and abundant access to healthy food for all humans on the planet.

A world where we measure how great our day was not in terms of what we conquered, consumed or accumulated but by how much love we shared with others.

In this ideal world, we no longer have billions of people who spend most of their waking hours at jobs they don’t love. Instead we are helping these people get in touch with their gifts, talents and passions and helping them use those keys to begin working on projects which contribute to the creation of this ideal world and to unlock and realize their dreams for a better future.

This is the world I see. But it’s not going to create itself.

Now is the time to allow our inner dreamer to come forth. To envision and to take inspired and strategic action in order to co-create these dreams as our mutually beneficial reality.

I’m holding these visions for us and at the same time preparing a step-by-step discovery and implementation process that will help each one of us get closer to this dream for a better world. What are you willing to do?
